  This is one of the most amazing Mexican Restaurants in Kansas City. I'm seriously astounded by the service and how friendly. The server was amazing, and really helped me find the best option. I am usually a tough critic and was impressed with how delicious the meal was, and how great it paired with their house margaritas. Try this place out, you won't be disappointed.

  You really can't screw up a decent Mexican place in this place is really a pretty cool Mexican place. Our in-laws that we were visiting had to make reservations because there were nine of us and the place isn't really that big or at least is it really set up to accommodate large parties.
  
  When we arrived at 7 our table was ready and I kid you not within 10 seconds of sitting down we had chips and salsa all over the place it was awesome. The salsa was a little mild but if you ask them to bring out the hot stuff they will and it'll set your face on fire.
  
  The server had a really good attitude and was pretty funny and accommodated the kids. He was a little slow with the beers but made up for in laughs. I ordered the Pollo Crema which was a little bit disappointing as I was expecting 6 to 8 oz of chicken and I got less than that. And you could choose your standard rice refried beans Etc as sides and all of the plates come out the temperature of the Sun so you have to be wary of that. My brother-in-law got fajitas and those sounded is good as they tasted yes I borrowed some of his fajita meat. It was medium-priced so you can imagine for a party of nine it was not a cheap night out but overall next time we go back to Olathe will stop and get some more of this. The only real reason for less than five stars is the place could use a deep cleaning the floors were a little greasy and the bathrooms were not in good order.

  A family owned place. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Had never been there so asked for a recommendation. The waiter immediately pointed to a menu item called Pollo de Creme'.  To say it was fantastic was a gross understatement. The poblano creme sauce was spectacular and the chicken was tender and juicy. You won't leave hungry as the portions are huge. Can't wait to go back!

  If you like hair in your food this is the place! Been going here for years and found a black human hair in my food and they charged me for it... will never go back, ever! Disgusting.

  Love La Carreta in Gardner, KS! Been here for birthdays, work parties and casual nights but it's always great food, drinks and service.
